Description: William Blount High driver's education students visited the Blount County Sheriff's Office driving course for lessons on driving and alcohol. Students watched demonstrations from the Blount County Fire Department who showed how they extricate victims from car crashes, Rural/Metro Ambulance Service who showed how they prepare victims for transport to the hospital, and the Sheriff's Office took them through driving course. The Sheriff's Office also put them in Fatal Vision, or "drunk goggles", that simulates what an intoxicated person might see and put them through a field sobriety test.
